Today’s ceremony are filled with activities. After the traditional flag raising the Mayor, Atty. Jobby Petines Emata recognizes the efforts of the Officer and employees in the MSWD Office that results for the municipality to receive awards from the DSWD. Afterwards, the new set of Market and Vendor’s Association Officers pledge their oath of office to the mayor.
Next is the HIV-AIDS awareness led by NDP Nurses and Rural Health Unit. It includes a prayer for the departed AIDS victims, a pledge of commitment of support, and the releasing of baloons to commemorate the victims.
Lastly, 3rd District Board Member Elect, Hon. Jojo Matias pays a surprise visit. After he deliver his message he handed the gifts(walker) that he brought for senior citizens and persons with disability.
